Zlatibor

Mountain Zlatibor is one of the most beautiful mountains in Serbia. It is only 14 km from the hotel „Zlatiborska Noć“. Vast open space with a landsape of myriad spacious pastures and glades, intersected by numerous crystal clear mountain brooks.  Zlatibor is characteristic for it’s huge areas of pine woods ; this mountain was named after it’s symbol –  gold pine (’Zlatibor’ – gold pine).

Zlatibor is at 1000 meters above sea level averagely, where the southern, sea air currents meet the continental, mountain currents; therefore this mountain is higly medicinal for pulmonal, coronary, psychosomatic and particularely for illnesses of the thyroid gland. Zlatibor plateau is bordered with the rivers Uvac, Kamešina and Sušica; while the river Crni Rzav runs right across Zlatibor.

There are written documents that testify of the very first tourists who had visited Zlatibor in 1750., whereas today this mountain is one of the most visited in Serbia. Zlatibor has made a real touristic boom in the last decade, when many villas, hotels, restaurants and other touristic objects have sprung over night, which resulted in miscellaneous services and offers available to guests, who are bound to leave this mountain beauty  completely satisfied in every aspect.
